IamEgypt
The Panamanian – Haitian Princess, IamEgypt started writing and making music a few years ago after being inspired by a character she was playing on Amazon’s Music and Murder. Music was always a part of the actress’ life – this moment allowed her to caveat into the music industry and focus on being an artist.
The North Carolina native expressed that Breakr changed her outlook on being an independent artist. “Being one of the first artists on [Breakr’s Virtual Concert Series] has helped me tremendously. It allowed me to perform for new fans, gain exposure and it’s given me an opportunity to work with other great artists!” In her performance, Egypt showcases the levels in her voice in this sensual and vibey performance. The vibrant colors capture the essence of Egypt’s upbeat sound with the help of her rhythmic dancers.
On her artistic journey so far, IamEgypt has collaborated with Trippie Redd and Alonestar on Chief $upreme‘s on “Myself Remix,” and “This is Us” also with Chief $upreme. Keep up with Egypt’s creativity and talent as she is excited to share her upcoming debut E.P. Twelve Thirty One with the world. While she continues to tinker and perfect that project, be sure to listen to her latest singles Tonight, Grateful, & Like That
